Celebrating outgoing Chairman Frank Myers

On the evening of Wednesday 22nd October, after our Annual General Meeting, Herefordshire Community Foundation’s Donors, Patrons, Fund holders and Friends gathered at The Bishop’s Palace, Hereford.

They were all there to celebrate the tireless service and commitment of HCF’s outgoing Chairman Frank Myers MBE.

Mr Oliver Cooke was compere for the evening and kind words and tributes were given by our Patron, Mr Edward Harley CBE, Lord Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Shelagh Wynn (former trustee), Laura Hughes (trustee), Jesse Norman MP and Bridie Sullivan (CEO).

Drinks flowed and canapés were enjoyed, as friends shared their stories of Frank’s last nine years and wished him well for his future.

Frank was delighted with his gift of a forged steel apple made by Brân Davies, artist blacksmith. He is a recent graduate and now studying for his MA Forged Metal Art at Hereford College of Arts.

Musical accompaniment was provided by Selina Hamilton (violinist) and Robert Peat (pianist).

We were delighted to welcome Sally Corrick Photography to record our event.
