The Heaton Fund aims to support communities in Herefordshire. The fund is currently closed.
About the Heaton Fund
The fund focuses on supporting charitable organisations active in these fields:
- musical development and performance, with particular focus on choral music and brass bands
- care for the elderly
- palliative care
- support for people with cancer and their families
- conservation and preservation of the natural environment, including woodlands and public areas
- education
- organisations that support ex-members of the armed forces, their widows, widowers and children
Note on applications
Where appropriate, support will be considered for individuals in relation to the field of music. Organisations of activities that fall outside of the above fields may be considered at the discretion of the donor.
Applications are considered on an ongoing, rolling basis, meaning you can apply at any time during the year.
The average grant award in 2024-25 was £2,000.
