High Sheriff Fund

The objectives of the Fund are to benefit such organisations and activities in the County as the High Sheriff, assisted by members of the Fund Panel, shall from time to time determine, particularly in relation to activities that support Law and Order and Community Cohesion.

About The High Sheriff Fund

The High Sheriff Fund is now open for applications. “Law and Order and Community Cohesion” are all high on the agenda but the High Sheriff’s theme this year is “Life Chances”, so we would love to broaden the official remit and hear from projects working to improve the life chances of people living right across Herefordshire.

Subject to satisfactory due diligence reporting from Herefordshire Community Fund, grants of up to £1000 are available to support project costs e.g. staff and volunteer costs, training, equipment etc.

Applications will not be considered from statutory bodies, individuals, families or organisations based outside the County unless such organisations are specifically supporting projects within the County.

The deadline for applications is Monday 5th February 2024.

This Fund is open for donations and all
contributions are very much appreciated.
