The Community Chest is a funding programme for all projects and initiatives across Herefordshire. Grants of up to £2,000 available.
About the Community Chest
The Programme is backed by the Business for Good Fund, a group of Herefordshire-based businesses committed to giving back to their local area. The initiative was developed in response to business leaders seeking a simple and effective way to make a real, positive difference within the County.
The Programme offers grants of up to £2,000 to support community-based projects across the county.
The Community Chest Programme is an open fund for community and grassroots organisations across Herefordshire. Applications may include projects that support Herefordians of all ages which might address disability, neurodivergence, bereavement or loneliness (although not exclusively). Projects may focus on sports, culture and the arts and include outcomes for the improvement of mental health and social isolation.
In January a panel, including members of the Business for Good Club, made 10 awards to local charities.
