Lakelands Trail Marathan run for George’s Fund

On Sunday 8th June, HCF’s very own Bridie Sullivan and her pal Faith Barcroft took part in The Lakeland Trails Marathon in support of George’s Fund, which celebrates the short and special life of George Price.
The final figures are in, and we’re delighted to announce that they raised an incredible £2,800.
Bridie and Faith would like to thank everyone who donated to their Lakeland Trails Coniston Marathon Challenge fundraiser. They were overwhelmed by people’s generosity – which provided valuable motivation to keep putting one foot in front of the other!
Faith and Bridie may have done the legwork, but it’s the generosity of donors that makes the difference – helping children in Herefordshire and keeping George’s legacy going . If you’d like to see what will happen to donations, please take a look at the latest George’s Fund impact report.
In Bridie’s own words, “I have never felt prouder to wear an orange t-shirt.” If anyone feels inspired to undertake a fundraiser for George’s Fund, please get in touch. For anyone who think’s they’ve missed the boat, we’re still open for donations!”
George’s fund accepts donations all year round. To donate visit the donate to George’s Fund page.
