About the Seedlings Fund
The Seedlings Fund offers a vital helping hand to small projects that make a big difference in our local communities.
This special fund is made possible thanks to the support of Herefordshire’s businesses.
From sole traders to large corporations, all sizes and types of business in the county can play their part by donating £10 per member of staff every year.
The Seedlings Fund makes it easy for businesses to plan and manage their charitable giving. Even better, the more that take part, the bigger the impact we can make!

Your donations will be in very safe hands as Herefordshire Community Foundation has a 22-year track record of administering, investing and distributing funds.

Absolutely! All businesses are welcome to contribute to The Seedlings Fund, from sole traders to SMEs through to larger corporations. If you employ staff in Herefordshire then we would love to hear from you.

Who will be helped by our donation?

Herefordshire Community Foundation has a deep understanding of the county and the issues it faces. We will ensure that the Seedlings Fund supports those community projects most in need, with a particular focus on helping new initiatives to get going.

How will we know who has been supported?
A:
We’ll keep you in the loop about the causes supported and how they are making a difference to local people. You will receive a quarterly e-newsletter with latest updates, such as invitations to apply for grants which you can share with your network, as well as details of grants given. There will also be opportunities for member businesses to get more closely involved, such as sitting on the decision-making panel.
