Rachel Carr

Rachel is the owner of Business Checkmate Ltd who are providers of completely bespoke business, leadership and management training both nationally and internationally. She is a proven and commended senior business leader who has worked for over 20 years at Board and Director level within international blue chip sales organisations such as Smith & Nephew, Kimberly-Clark. She also supports business growth within local SME’s and more recently in the education sector as the Marketing and Communication lead at NMITE.

Alongside her substantial business and people development experience, Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science, CIPD Certificate in Training Practice, Chartered Management Institute, CIM Advanced Certificate in Marketing and is currently studying for her MSc in Business Psychology.

Rachel has called Hereford home for the past 25 years and when not working in her own business, she can often be found navigating to places new with her partner and rescue Staffy Bella.

Rachel joined the Board in April 2022.
